Fee Schedule

This Fee Schedule describes everything you can be charged on ADYTUS — and, just as importantly, everything you cannot. It is part of the Terms of Service. The specific numbers for any contest are always shown on the contest page before you enter.
1. The one thing you pay: the entry fee
- Every contest shows a single, flat entry fee before you enter — the same amount for every entrant, always.
- Free contests and debate markets have a US$0 entry fee and use play credit only.
- You are charged once, at entry. Nothing you do inside a contest costs money: committing, rebalancing, and holding conviction all use Contest Vouchers (CV), which have no cash value.
- All fees are in US dollars.

3. Prizes are fixed — a worked example
Each paid contest publishes a fixed dollar prize for each paying rank before entry opens. A prize is never a percentage of the entry pool and never depends on how much CV you hold — only on where you finish. For example, a contest might publish:

Those numbers cannot change once entry opens — whether the contest fills 40 seats or 100, first place pays exactly the published amount. (The numbers above are illustrative; each contest page shows its own real table.)
4. How ADYTUS is funded
Entry fees fund the published prizes and the operation of the Service. What ADYTUS retains for a contest is the difference between the total entry fees collected and the total fixed prizes paid for that contest — which means our money is made transparently, from the schedule you can read before entering, and never by adjusting a winner’s prize. If a contest under-fills badly enough that it is cancelled under its published minimum, everyone is refunded instead. [PLATFORM RETENTION DISCLOSURE FORMAT — TBD BY COUNSEL]
5. Payments, refunds, and chargebacks
- Entry fees are processed by our third-party payment providers (card checkout). We never see or store your full card details.
- Refunds are issued only in the cases listed in the Official Contest Rules — a cancelled contest, one that misses its published minimum, or a voided round — and go back to the original payment method in full.
- A charge you do not recognise? Contact support@adytus.com first — we resolve genuine errors quickly. Chargebacks filed against legitimate, completed entries are treated as a payment dispute: the related entry is voided and the account may be restricted while it is investigated.

6. Taxes
Entry fees are not taxes, and prizes are paid gross except where the law requires withholding. You are responsible for taxes on prizes; where required we report winnings to tax authorities. Your Statements page keeps a running record of every fee, prize, and refund for your files.
7. Changes to this schedule
We may update this schedule; a change applies only to contests opened after it is posted — never retroactively to a contest you already entered. Questions: support@adytus.com.
