Each contest shows its flat entry fee on the card before you enter — many are free. The fee never changes mid-contest, and there is nothing else to pay, ever.

Contest Vouchers — the in-contest play credits you commit to a side. Every entrant gets an identical grant. CV has no cash value, can't be bought or withdrawn, and expires when the contest settles. It exists to measure skill, not to hold money.

No. One commit per contest, made during the entry window, and it's final. That's a core rule — it keeps the tier system honest.

When entry closes, the contest checks how lopsided the field is. Backing the minority side of a lopsided field is harder, so it pays a bigger CV multiplier if it wins — from 1.0× (near-unanimous field) up to 4.0×. The multiplier only ever applies to CV, never to prize amounts.

Finish high. Players are ranked by final CV when the contest settles, and prizes are fixed dollar amounts by rank, published before entry opened. Your rank decides your prize — nothing else does.

Prizes are paid to verified accounts via our payment provider. If you haven't completed identity verification yet, your prize waits safely until you do — the results screen has a Claim prize button that walks you through it.

Paying real prizes comes with legal obligations (age and identity checks). It's a one-time process handled by our verification partner, and it's only required to receive payouts — you can watch and play free rounds without it.

Entry fees are refunded in full if a contest is cancelled, doesn't reach its minimum number of entrants, or is voided for a technical failure. Otherwise entries are final once the window closes.

The Oracle — an AI evaluator that scores each argument on logic, evidence, and coherence, live during the show. Its conviction moves as the debate unfolds, and its final judgment decides the winning side.

Automated or scripted play is against the rules, and attempts to manipulate or inject instructions into the Oracle lead to disqualification. Bring your own reasoning — that's the game.

Keep it legal and non-abusive. Chat is banter — it doesn't affect scoring. Rate limits apply; serious misconduct can cost you your seat.

No — one account per person, one entry per contest. Multi-accounting or collusion forfeits entries and prizes.
