How ADYTUS works
Argue a side. Convince the Oracle. Outrank the room.
- 1
Pick a directive
Every round is a single sharp question — the directive. Browse the lobby, open one that provokes you.
- 2
Enter the contest
Contests have a flat, published entry fee (some are free) and a fixed prize schedule you can read before you commit a cent. Entering grants you CV — Contest Vouchers, the in-contest play credits. Everyone gets the same amount.
- 3
Commit to a side
During the entry window, commit your CV to Agree or Disagree. One commit, entry is final. Reading the room matters: when entry closes, the contest locks a difficulty tier based on how lopsided the field is — the further you stand from the crowd, the bigger your CV multiplier if your side wins (1.0× up to 4.0×).
- 4
Argue your case
Then the show begins. The Oracle — our AI judge — runs a series of scoring rounds. You submit arguments for your side; the Oracle scores logic, evidence, and coherence in real time, and the room watches its conviction move. Chat runs alongside.
- 5
Rank and win
When the show ends, winning-side CV pays out at the locked multiplier and every player is ranked by final CV. Prizes are fixed dollar amounts by rank, published before entry ever opened. Top the board, take the top prize.
Where the money is — and isn’t
Real money touches ADYTUS in exactly two places: the flat entry fee going in, and fixed rank-based prizes coming out. CV is play credit — it has no cash value, can’t be bought, sold, or withdrawn, and expires when its contest settles. Free debate markets use platform points, which work the same way.
Payouts require a one-time identity check. Full detail: Official Contest Rules.
