Eligible Jurisdictions

Where ADYTUS is available — and which parts of it — depends on the law where you live and where you are. This notice explains how availability is decided and enforced. It is part of the Terms of Service. Whether you can enter a given contest is always confirmed at registration and again at entry; the contest page is the definitive answer for you, right now.

1. The two tracks

• Free play — $0-entry contests and debate markets using play credit only. Available in most places, but not everywhere: a small number of jurisdictions restrict even free play, and we respect that.
• Paid contests — flat-entry-fee, fixed-prize skill contests. Offered only where paid-entry skill contests are permitted, which is a narrower map than free play.

Every jurisdiction therefore falls into one of three buckets: fully available, free play only, or not available. The concrete lists are determined by our legal review, kept current as laws change, and enforced automatically server-side — they are not editable by support and cannot be talked around. 2. Age comes first

You must be at least 18 years old and of the age of majority where you live to use any part of the Service — including free play. The date-of-birth check at registration is a hard gate, not a formality.

3. How we determine where you are — three signals

Availability is never assessed from a single signal. We combine:

1. Network location — where your connection reaches us from (IP-based);
2. Payment instrument — the country and checks associated with the card or account paying an entry fee;
3. Declared and verified residence — the address you give us, later confirmed by identity verification.

If the signals conflict, we take the most restrictive answer — a conflict is a denial, not a coin flip. We may pause entries or a payout until a conflict is resolved.

4. No circumvention — VPNs and location masking

Using a VPN, proxy, remote machine, false address, or another person’s account or payment method to appear somewhere you are not is a material breach of the Terms. Consequences scale with what was accessed: entries obtained by circumvention are void, associated prizes are forfeited, and the account may be closed. Being clever about geography is not a game we award prizes for.

5. If you travel

Eligibility follows both residence and presence. Travelling somewhere a track is not offered means that track is unavailable to you while you are there — you can watch, but you may not be able to enter. Positions in contests you entered lawfully before travelling are unaffected; settlement and any prize you win proceed normally.

6. If you relocate

Moving your residence to a jurisdiction with different availability changes what we can offer you going forward:

• to a free-only jurisdiction — paid entry closes for you, free play continues;
• to an unavailable jurisdiction — the account is placed in a view-only state;
• in both cases, verified prizes already owed to you remain payable, subject to verification and the Terms — a lawful win does not evaporate because you moved.

Update your address promptly; verification will catch mismatches anyway, and surprises help no one.

7. Sanctions

Separately from contest law, we do not serve sanctioned persons or comprehensively sanctioned territories at all — including free play. See the AML & Identity Verification Policy.

8. Why we do not publish a simple state list here (yet)

Skill-contest law is a patchwork that changes by statute, regulation, and court decision. Publishing a list that later goes stale would be worse than pointing you at the live check: the registration and entry flows always reflect the current legal review.
